Shocking Exit: T:e:e:n Doge Worker ‘Big Balls’ Edward Coristine Quits Tr:um:p’s Cost-Cutting Team!
Teen Employee Resigns Amid Department Shakeup
A teenage staff member has stepped down from his position at the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), as confirmed by a White House official. The former employee, Edward Coristine, gained attention for his nickname “Big Balls,” which he explained originated from his LinkedIn profile, where he aimed to showcase a casual attitude towards the typically serious platform.
Coristine, a 19-year-old college student and software developer, was involved in efforts to identify wasteful and fraudulent government spending. During an interview, he described examining payment systems within the US Treasury, discovering numerous outgoing payments with little to no details on recipients or purpose. He highlighted that much of the government’s payment technology lacks proper oversight, posing significant risks of fraud and misappropriation.
Many people expressed concern over Coristine’s access to sensitive government records despite his youth and unconventional nickname. He stated that the federal payment system distributes taxpayer dollars with minimal oversight, making it a prime avenue for fraud, waste, and abuse.
Coristine’s resignation follows Elon Musk’s departure from DOGE, which occurred less than a month ago. Under Musk’s leadership, DOGE was tasked with reducing the federal budget by $2 trillion. The department reported saving approximately $180 billion through asset sales, cancelling contracts, and cutting fraudulent payments, translating into about $1,118 in savings per taxpayer.
