Arrest of the “Liver King” Influencer in Texas

The controversial fitness personality known as “Liver King,” whose real name is Brian Johnson, was detained in Texas after posting social media videos threatening a fight with podcast host Joe Rogan. In these videos, Johnson appeared armed with what looked like two firearms and discussed physically confronting Rogan, prompting police action.

Johnson, who gained fame for promoting a primal diet involving raw animal organs, was booked into Travis County Jail on a misdemeanor charge of making a terroristic threat. Records confirm his arrest, though specific details linking it to Rogan are not publicly confirmed. Prior to his arrest, Johnson posted a frantic video while in custody, pacing and speaking about going to prison, fighting Rogan, and discussing his upcoming detention.

Throughout his social media spree, Johnson continued to challenge Rogan to a physical fight, claiming he had a “family to fight for.” In a video posted shortly before his arrest, dressed shirtless with a fur headdress, he declared his intention to face Rogan “man to man,” despite admitting he has no jiu-jitsu training. He also expressed a willingness to die trying, even hoping Rogan would try to choke him out.

Johnson’s outbursts and threats extended online, with him calling Rogan repeatedly to fight and vowing to bring his fight to Rogan’s Austin home. He also recorded footage with his family, joking about a Wi-Fi password labeled “F–k Joe Rogan” and sharing a prayer before authorities arrived.

While some specifics regarding his arrest remain unclear, Johnson has previously admitted to steroid use, revealing that his muscular physique was maintained through an $11,000 monthly steroid regimen, contradicting his earlier claims that his diet was solely responsible.
