Diver Makes Astonishing 100-Year-Old Wedding Ring Recovery from Texas’ Possum Kingdom Lake!
Woman’s 105-Year-Old Diamond Wedding Ring Recovered from Texas Lake
A dedicated diver successfully retrieved a precious family heirloom—a 105-year-old diamond wedding ring—from a Texas lake after a three-day search effort.
The incident occurred when JackO’Lynn Page was enjoying a day at Possum Kingdom Lake with her son’s baseball team. During the outing, her antique wedding ring unexpectedly slipped off her finger and disappeared into the water.
The 17,000-acre man-made lake, stretching along the Brazos River, became the site of a community effort to recover the heirloom. The entire team—including players, parents, and grandparents—joined forces to search the shoreline and shallow waters, but their on-land attempts proved unsuccessful.
Seeking professional help, Page contacted Blue Diver Search and Recovery, a Texas-based dive service known for its honesty and extensive experience. Diver Ryan Prigmore arrived equipped to scour the 50-by-100-foot area underwater, determined to find the lost ring.
On his initial attempt Friday, Prigmore found no sign of the ring but promised to return. True to his word, he went back on Monday, when conditions were more favorable. With perseverance, he managed to locate and recover Page’s treasured ring, sending her a photo of the victorious find.
Page expressed profound gratitude, saying, “I was ready to accept it was lost forever, but Ryan didn’t give up. My ring means everything to me, and I’m over the moon to have it back.”
Blue Diver Search and Recovery boasts a reputation for retrieving various objects, from lost jewelry to unusual items like jars of dirt or even personal items of more sensitive nature.
