Teenager Critically Injured After Scooter Collision on Hutchinson River Parkway

An 18-year-old girl is in critical condition following a serious accident involving a scooter and two vehicles in the Bronx. Police are currently searching for the scooter’s driver, who fled the scene.

The incident occurred around 4 a.m. at exit 1C of the Hutchinson River Parkway when the scooter collided with a Honda Pilot. The impact caused the motorcycle to crash, ejecting the passenger, who was left lying on the road with life-threatening injuries. Emergency services quickly responded and transported her to Jacobi Hospital for treatment.

The crash triggered a chain reaction, pushing the Honda Pilot into a Honda Accord nearby. Three passengers from each of the involved vehicles sustained injuries but were reported to be in stable condition upon arrival at the hospital.
