Alejandro Garnacho Provokes Man United Fans with Aston Villa Shirt Post! Is This an At:ta:ck on Ruben Amorim?
Alejandro Garnacho Creates Controversy Among Manchester United Supporters with Holiday Post
Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho has sparked criticism from fans after sharing holiday photos that included wearing a shirt of a rival Premier League club, Aston Villa. The 20-year-old posted images from his Ibiza vacation, one of which showed him donning Marcus Rashford’s Villa jersey, fueling frustration among supporters.
Garnacho’s social media activity comes amid ongoing tensions with Manchester United management. Last month, he was informed to seek a new club after being left on the bench for over 70 minutes during the Europa League final, which United lost to Tottenham. Garnacho had previously voiced disappointment with his playing time and appeared to signal discontent on social platforms.
His current image-sharing has further ignited controversy, especially as Rashford, who spent part of last season on loan at Aston Villa, publicly supported Garnacho with the comment “My brother” alongside a heart emoji. Nevertheless, many fans expressed disapproval of Garnacho’s outfit choice. Comments ranged from calling the Villa shirt “madness” to suggesting he should leave Manchester United.
Reports indicate Garnacho, Rashford, Antony, and Jadon Sancho are set to be excluded from United’s upcoming pre-season tour of the USA, with plans for the quartet to train separately if they cannot secure transfers beforehand.
Throughout the summer, Garnacho shared numerous holiday photos, including relaxing poolside and socializing with friends. With 144 appearances and 26 goals for United, his future at the club seems uncertain as rumors of transfers swirl.
