Marcus Rashford Expresses Interest in Playing with Lamine Yamal at Barcelona

Marcus Rashford has publicly expressed his eagerness to team up with teenage football sensation Lamine Yamal at Barcelona, amid his ongoing pursuit of a transfer from Manchester United.

When asked about playing with Yamal, Rashford responded: “Of course I’d love to. Everyone wants to play with the best. Hopefully… we’ll see.”

His current situation at Manchester United appears uncertain, especially under coach Ruben Amorim, with whom relations have soured. Rashford’s priority is to move to Spain, citing the country’s appealing lifestyle and proximity to home.

Rashford has expressed admiration for living in Spain, appreciating its good weather and easy travel arrangements.

Barcelona has shown interest in Rashford, with Deco confirming his fondness for the player and meeting with his agent to explore the possibility of a transfer. However, Barcelona is currently focused on completing a deal for Nico Williams, which complicates Rashford’s plans.

Any transfer fee received by Manchester United would be considered pure profit under their Financial Fair Play calculations. Rashford aims to join the Champions League and strengthen his chances of earning a spot in England’s squad for next year’s World Cup, having been previously called up by Gareth Southgate.
