Inter Milan Star Francesco Acerbi Threatens Fan After Taunt Over Champions League Loss!
Inter Milan Defender Francesco Acerbi Threatens Fan After Being Taunted Over Champions League Loss
Inter Milan defender Francesco Acerbi was involved in a heated exchange with a fan after being mocked about last month’s Champions League final, which saw PSG defeat Inter 5-0—the club’s heaviest final loss.
The incident occurred during a meet-and-greet, when a fan in Seattle wearing a PSG shirt mocked Acerbi for his team’s defeat. Social media footage shows the Italian international visibly irritated, seeking assistance from a translator who advised the fan to be serious.
In response, Acerbi sharply retorted in Italian: “I’m serious. Don’t mock me—I don’t like it. I’m crazy, I’ll beat the s*** out of you.” After the confrontation, he quickly posed for photos with other fans and moved on.
This outburst comes just weeks after Acerbi declined a call-up for Italy’s World Cup qualifiers, citing disrespect from coach Luciano Spalletti, who was subsequently dismissed. Acerbi expressed frustration on social media, stating:
“It’s not a decision I made lightly. But given recent events, I feel I can’t proceed with peace of mind. I demand respect. If that respect is missing from those leading the team, I prefer to step aside. I won’t stay where I am no longer truly wanted and where I feel I am not part of the coach’s plan.”
Inter Milan is set to face Urawa Reds in their upcoming Club World Cup match.
