Shocking! Massive Weatherproof Dome Crashes from Sky During Storm in Indiana – You Won’t Believe This!

Falling Radome Surprises Indiana Community During Severe Storm

An Indiana neighborhood was stunned when a weatherproof “radome” unexpectedly dropped from the sky amid a damaging storm that swept through the Midwest overnight. The spherical structure, which is designed to be highly resistant to weather, was found damaged and partly open after landing on a residential street, having blown away from a nearby property during the storm.

The radome, resembling a large gray globe, was visibly scuffed from the fall. Neighbors described it as looking like an eyeball, with one side hatch partially open. The device is typically used to shield antennas and radar systems from harsh weather to ensure operation, according to industry experts.

The radome in question was not actively in use before the storm and was positioned off to the side of a local company’s building. An employee from V2X, an aerospace and defense firm based near the scene, confirmed that the radome belonged to their company but was puzzled by how it was displaced so far from its usual location.

According to Andrew Belush, a V2X site executive, the device probably turned over in the wind and was propelled away. He reassured the public, saying, “We’re really thankful no one got hurt,” and humorously added, “It’s not an alien spaceship or satellite,” dismissing any extraterrestrial theories.

Authorities and company officials remain uncertain about how the radome traveled so far. The incident adds to a series of unusual weather and aerial phenomena observed in recent months across the region.
