Former US Fighter Pilot’s Shocking Near-Collision with UFO – You Won’t Believe What He Saw!

Ex-US Fighter Pilot Recalls Close Encounter with UFO

A retired U.S. combat fighter pilot described an extraordinary encounter with a UFO during a training flight. Major Ryan Bodenheimer, an experienced pilot and former member of the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds, recounted in a recent video how he narrowly avoided colliding with a rectangular-shaped unidentified object in southern Wyoming.

He was flying at approximately 30,000 feet and 460 mph when a bright object suddenly appeared off in the distance. Bodenheimer initially considered the possibility of it being a weather balloon but quickly realized it did not match anything he had seen before. The object was about 30 to 40 feet tall, with glowing white edges and a clear center, seemingly pulsating with light.

Remarkably, the aircraft’s radar and radio signals detected no anomalies, yet the object maintained pace alongside Bodenheimer’s jet without apparent propulsion or exhaust—defying conventional aeronautical laws. The pilot described the object as silent, with pulsing edges and an undetectable presence on radar.

Bodenheimer noted that the UFO soon accelerated away rapidly, prompting him to inform air traffic control. There was a tense silence before they responded, stating other aircraft would be on the lookout. Despite not hearing further updates, Bodenheimer later found a report filed about an “anomalous object” in his vicinity on that day.

For years, Bodenheimer hesitated to share his experiences due to the societal stigma surrounding UFO sightings. However, with increasing reports of military pilots encountering similar phenomena over recent decades, he now feels more comfortable discussing his encounter.

Southern Wyoming, where the incident occurred, is known for frequent UFO reports, especially around Cheyenne, home to Warren Air Force Base, which has logged over 50 aerial phenomena sightings since 1995.
