I first connected with Anne last summer during a shoot of her vibrant Brooklyn loft, arranged through her close friend and publicist, Jaret Keller.

Her home was a reflection of her lively personality—colorful, welcoming, full of personality. She greeted us with hugs and drinks, quickly slipping into her professional mode for the interview, all while maintaining her cheerful spirit.

We spent the afternoon exploring her treasured possessions—photos with her husband, Stuart, her delightful terrace, and her stepson’s colorful bedroom, which she described as “very, ‘All You Need Is Love.’”

“Everything here is a little crooked, and I think that suits me just fine,” she said. “I’m a little crooked, so I feel right at home.”

Afterward, she prepared her famous Aperol Spritzes, and we toasted to new friendships and great times.

Beyond the shoot, Anne reached out via Instagram DMs, expressing her gratitude for the experience. Her humor and kindness shone through in a meme about kale and a little joke about her signature style.

Anne’s quick wit, infectious laughter, and generous spirit made everyone feel special. Her family described her as a “beloved wife, sister, daughter, stepmother, and friend,” with her smile lighting every room she entered.

Her passing at 55 in her NYC home was a profound loss, with the cause yet to be fully disclosed—though a cardiac arrest was reported. Her legacy of warmth, humor, and love for life will remain in the hearts of many.
