Recent reports reveal that Brad Pitt’s relationship with his children remains strained, despite his efforts to rebuild connections. A source stated that Pitt, 61, has made several attempts to reconnect but still largely remains estranged from most of his kids, causing him significant emotional distress.

He reportedly sees his younger children, Knox and Vivienne, only occasionally, while the bonds with the others—Maddox, Pax, Zahara, and Shiloh—are described as strained. The source added that the emotional weight of this family rift persists for Pitt.

Though Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie finalized their divorce last year, family tensions linger. Jolie has spoken publicly about how her children helped her through the difficult split, which followed a turbulent incident on a plane in 2016.

Many of the children have since dropped Pitt’s last name in various contexts. For instance, Shiloh has officially adopted Jolie’s maiden name and was even listed as “Shi Jolie” in recent credits. Vivienne also used Jolie’s last name in her recent Playbill, and Zahara did the same during her sorority introduction.
