NYC Taxpayer-Funded Babysitter Arrested After Viral Video Spree of Child Beatings!

The NYPD has apprehended a 24-year-old woman suspected of abusing children under her care. The arrest follows the circulation of a disturbing video showing her hitting two kids with a belt nearly 60 times. Although the footage was provided to authorities on May 6, it took about a month for a warrant to be issued, and an additional two weeks before her arrest.

Jackson was detained early Wednesday morning and faces multiple charges related to child assault. The video depicting her abusive behavior surfaced in early May, and it was several weeks before authorities acted to arrest her.

The woman was employed by a city-initiated program that assigns babysitters to families in need. She was working for Bronx mother Geraldine Jaramillo since the previous year, through a contractor funded by the city’s Administration for Children’s Services, which provides caretaking support to struggling families.
