Drunk Passenger Attacks Woman on Plane, Yanks Hair, Kicks, Screams — Shocking Footage!
A disruptive passenger at LaGuardia Airport caused chaos on a Southwest Airlines flight, resulting in her being handcuffed and removed from the plane. The incident was captured on video, showing the woman grabbing a fellow passenger’s hair and shouting racial slurs before being restrained.
Leanna Perry, 32, from New York City, was detained and charged with aggravated assault following her meltdown just before the flight’s departure around 1 a.m., according to Port Authority Police.
Footage inside the aircraft depicts Perry holding onto a woman’s hair, calling her derogatory names, and yelling insults. As airline staff try to control her, she begins kicking and flailing, prompting further intervention. Despite being restrained with zip ties, she continues to curse and insult others, even mocking a passenger’s boyfriend’s size in a bizarre rant.
She then falls to the floor, claiming she cannot breathe, and screams obscenities while kicking her legs wildly. Passengers plead with crew members for help as Perry flails her limbs, eventually becoming emotional and shouting to be left alone, followed by more profanities.
The police responded after reports of an intoxicated passenger on the flight. Perry was taken to a nearby hospital for evaluation before being handed over to correction officials.
She was removed from the flight and denied boarding, with airline officials commending their crew for maintaining professionalism during the incident.
