Stuart Claxton, the husband of chef Anne Burrell, reportedly discovered her unconscious on the shower floor Tuesday morning and contacted emergency services before her passing was confirmed.

According to law enforcement sources, Claxton last saw Burrell alive around 1 a.m. the night before he found her body in their Brooklyn residence at approximately 7:50 a.m., reports TMZ.

He then dialed 911 and was advised to administer CPR. However, by the time emergency crews arrived, her body was cold, and it is uncertain if resuscitation efforts were attempted.
