LA Protest Hit-and-Run Footage

Shocking footage captures a chaotic incident during a “No Kings” protest in downtown Los Angeles on Sunday, where a driver intentionally ran over a woman blocking the street.

The protester, in her early 20s, initially confronts a burgundy sedan with California plates, standing in front of it and placing her hands on the hood. The vehicle then slowly advances toward her, despite her attempt to push it away. The driver, who had the green light, accelerates, causing the woman to fall. The right front wheel then rolls over her lower leg, as others nearby rush to her aid.

The driver flees the scene, which took place at 5th and Hills streets, according to police reports. No arrests have been made, and the incident is under investigation as a hit-and-run. A police helicopter was seen over the scene searching for the suspect, with ongoing efforts to locate the driver.
