Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Shocking Response to Son Patrick’s ‘Weenie’ Revealed!
Arnold Schwarzenegger has defended his remarks about Patrick Schwarzenegger’s explicit scene in “The White Lotus.”
The former California governor was criticized for mentioning his son’s “weenie” during a recent appearance on “Late Night with Seth Meyers,” with some calling his comments “creepy.”
Meyers pointed out that Schwarzenegger had previously referred to Patrick’s scene by that term, prompting the actor to respond humorously.
Schwarzenegger also openly discussed using the term, saying it was common in the ’70s. “Maybe today it’s different, I don’t know,” he quipped.
Addressing his son’s scene directly, Arnold shared, “I saw the scene and said, ‘What’s going on here? It’s crazy,’” noting that Patrick, 31, took to X to ask, “Who the heck says weenie?”
He added, “And I told him, ‘Well, I do,’ because it was a term used back then, in the ’70s.”
He humorously remarked, “I remember in those movies, I was naked—so don’t complain now.”
Arnold defended himself, saying that his choice of words was rooted in the slang of the ’70s, adding, “It’s probably different now.”
Meyers reassured him that the term still “works,” causing Arnold to joke again about his vintage language.
Earlier, Page Six reported that Arnold faced backlash for his reaction to Patrick’s nude scene. He had said, “I was watching the show and saw his backside—he’s just following in my footsteps,” highlighting the family connection.
Arnold, now 77, also reflected openly about his own past, saying, “In movies like ‘Conan’ and ‘Terminator,’ I was naked—so I have no right to complain.”
In the past, Arnold admitted seeing his son’s nude scene didn’t surprise him, jokingly remarking that “the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.”
