Charlie Puth Drops Shocking Tease of New Album at Cannes Lions 2025 Spotify Party!
Spotify launched Cannes Lions 2025 with a glamorous soirée held at a luxurious villa, featuring a live set by Charlie Puth.
During his performance, Puth announced:
“I’m currently finishing my fourth album via FaceTime,” he said. “It will have lots of piano — I can’t wait to share it with you.”
The 33-year-old artist, known for multiple songs with over a billion streams, performed hits like “We Don’t Talk Anymore” and “See You Again,” to an excited crowd.
Puth shared how he first discovered Spotify years ago, back in 2011 or 2012, when a fan from New Zealand lent him their login details to explore the platform before it arrived in the US.
“I asked a follower for their login to see what the fuss was about — it was just as amazing then as now. Thanks for the introduction,” he recalled.
The exclusive event drew numerous notable guests, from NBA star Kyle Kuzma to supermodel Winnie Harlow, who was seen singing along. The evening featured Moët & Chandon champagne, chicken sandwiches, fries, and oysters for attendees.
