Paris Jackson responded to critics upset over her scheduled performance on the anniversary of her father Michael Jackson’s death with a blunt “f–k you” via her Instagram Stories.

“So, people are mad again,” she said in a series of videos on Friday. “One of my tour dates with Incubus and Manchester Orchestra is set for June 25, which is a very painful anniversary for me and my family.”

The concert is planned for the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, coinciding with the 16-year anniversary of Michael Jackson’s passing. He died at 50 on June 25, 2009, due to a heart attack linked to a drug overdose.

“As a supporting act, I don’t choose the dates or the cities, those are decided by the headliner,” she explained. Additionally, she clarified she wouldn’t receive special treatment or luxury accommodations.

“I’ll just have my acoustic guitar and my sound guy, who’s my fiancé, Justin Long, to accompany me,” she added, emphasizing her modest travel arrangements. She confirmed her engagement to Justin Long in December 2024.

Paris reflected that her previous touring experiences with the band were extremely challenging, and she questioned why she should make a fuss over the scheduling, especially since she pitched herself as an opening act.

“It’s just me, my guitar, and my fiancé, and we’ll be in a van,” she shared, referencing her modest touring setup. She explained she typically pitches herself as an opening act, which doesn’t grant her special privileges.

“It feels like Incubus is doing me a favor by letting me join the tour,” she said sarcastically. Paris Jackson/Instagram

“So, do I just tell them, ‘Sorry, I can’t perform on that date’?” she joked, telling critics to “f–k you.”

In April, she was announced as an opening act with Manchester Orchestra for Incubus’ US and UK tour, with the band sharing their excitement on Instagram: “Can’t wait to see you all there.”

“This is mainly me and my fiancé Justin Long, traveling only with my guitar and sound guy,” Paris clarified, highlighting her simple travel plans.
