Shocking! Sacha Baron Cohen and Isla Fisher’s Divorce Finalized After Just One Year—You Won’t Believe Why!
Sacha Baron Cohen and Isla Fisher have officially finalized their divorce, more than a year after announcing their separation. Both shared a joint statement on their Instagram Stories on Friday confirming the news.
“Our divorce has now been finalized,” they wrote. “We are proud of all we’ve achieved together and, with mutual respect, we remain friends and dedicated to co-parenting our children. We kindly ask the media to respect our privacy during this time.”
The couple shared their decision after nearly 14 years of marriage, with Cohen, 53, and Fisher, 49, revealing their split last April. They issued a joint statement, joking about a long tennis match lasting over two decades, and noting that they had been working privately through their separation.
In their statement, they emphasized their ongoing friendship and devotion to their children, asking for privacy. Despite rumors, sources indicated that the pair had been living separately and were amicable during the divorce process.
In February, a source told Page Six that Cohen and Fisher were handling the divorce smoothly and remaining focused on their children. They met in 2001 and married in 2010, sharing three children: two daughters and a son.
Fisher described her experience as “the most difficult thing I’ve been through” in an interview with The Sunday Times, adding, “I’ve learned so much about myself in the process. We are committed and loving parents.”
