Princess Charlotte honored her great-grandmother Queen Elizabeth II in a subtle way during the 2025 Trooping the Colour in London.

At age 10, she wore a turquoise dress with white trim, white Mary Jane flats, and accessorized with a diamond horseshoe brooch, reportedly a gift from the late Queen.

The brooch, gifted by her great-grandmother, held sentimental value.

Charlotte previously wore the same horseshoe brooch to Queen Elizabeth’s funeral in September 2022, styled with a black coat dress, matching tights, and a boater hat by Jane Taylor.

Charlotte and Queen Elizabeth shared a love of horseback riding, bonding over the activity.

Queen Elizabeth had previously gifted Charlotte the horseshoe brooch, a symbol of her shared passion for equestrian pursuits, before her passing at 96 in 2022.

Charlotte debuted the brooch at Queen Elizabeth’s funeral. She styled it with a black coat dress, matching tights, and a boater hat by Jane Taylor.

Charlotte has been present at various Trooping ceremonies with Queen Elizabeth.

The annual Trooping ceremony marks the official birthday of the British monarch. In 2025, it honored King Charles III, who will turn 77 in November.

The celebration features the entire royal family, captured here in 2022.

Princess Middleton, 43, attended her first Trooping since announcing her remission from cancer earlier this year. She completed her look with a wide-brimmed Juliette Botterill hat and Queen Elizabeth’s pearl drop earrings.

She was joined by Prince William, Prince George, Prince Louis, and Queen Camilla.
