Sharing a photo of Billy Ray on Instagram, Trace, 36, accused him of being fame-hungry: “This man is so hungry for fame it’s pathetic. He flew to Italy for a fashion show but refused to attend Mammie’s funeral while still married to my mom.”

He further claimed that even after securing a $60,000 private jet for his dad, Billy Ray still didn’t show up for grandma’s funeral. “You’re the lamest man ever to walk planet earth,” Trace added, expressing disappointment and embarrassment.

Trace also referenced an earlier incident involving his father missing his grandmother’s funeral, revealing he accused Billy Ray of neglecting family commitments for personal gain. In a screenshot shared via Instagram Stories, Trace defended his words and responded to a follower suggesting his rant was “a cry for help,” stating he’s “past the point of caring” and considers Billy Ray a “lost cause.”

He urged his father to “get right with God,” emphasizing that he plans to continue his family legacy and raise his future children with strong values, despite ongoing family conflicts.

Adding to his critique, Trace shared a screenshot of a fan comment labeling his outburst “a cry for attention,” to which Trace responded that he’s “beyond caring” about reconnecting with his father, calling him a “lost cause” and affirming his commitment to his own family’s future legacy.
