Julia Fox has voiced her opinion on the ongoing legal feud between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni regarding their upcoming film, “It Ends With Us.”

At the Tribeca Film Festival, Fox expressed her support for Lively, stating, “I was very happy to hear the news about Blake Lively because I support women all the time.” She made this remark shortly after a judge dismissed Baldoni’s $400 million defamation lawsuit against Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, broadening her stance publicly.

Fox emphasized her commitment to supporting women, regardless of public opinion or their circumstances, by saying, “I support women when they’re right, when they’re wrong, when they’re likable, and when they’re unlikable.” She added, “I’m going to support Blake,” highlighting her empathy for Lively’s situation, especially considering her own experiences with online backlash.

Fox also shared her perspective on the public treatment of women, asserting, “The punishment for women always outweighs the crime, and we don’t even know if there was a crime.” She expressed hope that the public would wait for all facts to surface before passing judgment, urging people to “stop speculating.”

While she doesn’t know Lively personally, Fox wants her to realize that not everyone is against her, and that many people are rooting for her.

Fox made it clear she would refuse to work with Baldoni and criticized the public backlash on Lively, even if her allegations against Baldoni are unfounded. She added, “The punishment for women always outweighs the crime, and we don’t even know if there was a crime.” She also commented on her own history as a target of cyberbullying, sympathizing with Lively’s situation.

Lively previously filed a lawsuit against Baldoni, claiming sexual harassment, which he denied. Baldoni responded by suing her for defamation and extortion, with a judge dismissing Baldoni’s countersuits in June, citing insufficient evidence of misconduct due to statements made by Reynolds and others.

Fox’s support underscores her belief in fairness and the importance of waiting for all facts before judging publicly. She hopes that Lively and Baldoni’s legal battle, scheduled for 2026, will see resolution based on substantial evidence rather than speculation.
