Britney Spears criticized her former partners on Tuesday, responding to recent claims made by her third ex-husband, Sam Asghari, that their marriage negatively impacted his career.

“What a shady week. I’m not feeling the love, and honestly, if I did, I’d send it right back to you! F–king birds!” Britney wrote in a lengthy Instagram post.

“I’ve felt so disillusioned with humanity this year. I even loved my dogs more than some people because they show me unconditional love,” Britney added.

“These exes never acknowledged me or even held my hand. Animals are better companions any day,” Britney declared.

Though it’s uncertain which two exes she references, her comments followed Asghari’s appearance on Page Six Radio, where he discussed how their marriage impacted his career.

“Being in such a high-profile relationship gave me a platform, but it also created hurdles,” he said. “Some casting agents wondered if they should hire ‘someone associated with a pop star’ or a ‘cheesy trainer.’”

Asghari met Britney in 2016 on the set of her “Slumber Party” music video. The couple married in a lavish ceremony in June 2022 but divorced in May 2024, citing “irreconcilable differences.”

Earlier this year, Asghari revealed he signed an NDA during their relationship and shared other details about his personal life. Britney has two children with Kevin Federline, whom she was married to from 2004 to 2007.
