After skipping the red carpet at the Peacock Theater, the 56-year-old performer took the stage to debut her new single, “Type Dangerous,” dressed in a shimmering gold mini dress with an asymmetric hem.

Her look featured a fitted corset-style top with thin straps, complemented by a flared mermaid skirt, adding glamour to her appearance.

Mariah styled her accessories with a diamond necklace and matching silver bracelets, completing her sophisticated look. She also wore platinum heels that coordinated perfectly.

For her makeup, she kept it simple with sleek, straight hair and her signature glam style.

During her emotional speech, she reflected on her journey and achievements, sharing that she now embraces her true self without concern for others’ approval.

“It took me a while, but I finally realized life is too short to live for anyone else’s approval,” she said. “Tonight, I’m owning my fabulousness, my success, and my icon status—thank you!”

She released “Type Dangerous” last Friday, her first new song in years, after last dropping an album in 2018. Looks like this summer will be all about Mariah.
