Last week in Las Vegas, Tarek El Moussa, known for “Flip or Flop,” was charged with battery following an incident where he reportedly struck a man unconscious.

The HGTV personality and another man were involved in a physical altercation at the Venetian Resort’s Palazzo on June 5, as confirmed by Page Six.

Witnesses claimed that El Moussa’s action was an act of protecting his elderly father, who was allegedly provoked by the victim. A source added that he was “protecting his elderly father” after an altercation involving his family, according to Page Six.

Several days prior, Heather Rae Young, Tarek’s wife, shared family photos from their Vegas trip on Instagram, captioning, “Not our usual Vegas adventure… 🎰💎🖤.”

She added, “Watched Tarek perform on stage and brought our parents along for a memorable experience. Grateful for these moments together.” Young did not address the altercation publicly.
