Kristin Cavallari’s Shocking Secret: Why She’ll Never Forgive Her Dad!
Kristin Cavallari has made it clear she will never forgive her father, Dennis Cavallari, after he allegedly “crossed the line” with her children.
“There have been numerous issues with my dad. He’s crossed a boundary with my kids, and that’s a dealbreaker for me,” she shared during a segment on Page Six Radio.
Kristin, who shares sons Camden, 12, and Jaxon, 11, and daughter Saylor, 9, with ex-husband Jay Cutler, stressed the significance of “accountability.”
“If I hurt your feelings and come to you, all you need to say is, ‘I’m sorry,’” she explained. “There’s no need to defend your actions or explain yourself. Just acknowledge and apologize. That’s what matters.”
She added, “When someone crosses a boundary and refuses to accept accountability, I can’t have them in my life.”
“If you hurt someone, just say you’re sorry. No explanations needed,” Kristin emphasized. “People close to me know what’s happened, so I don’t have to explain myself.”
“My dad overstepped a boundary that required accountability, and I’ve chosen to cut him out of my life,” she stated plainly, adding, “He’s out of my life forever.”
She explained that her decision was a long time coming, with the final incident involving her children pushing her to cut ties. “He couldn’t even apologize,” she said.
“Gaslighting and dismissing my feelings was too much. Life is too short to keep toxic relationships, even with family,” Kristin declared.
Earlier, Kristin described her estrangement from her “narcissist” father as the best decision she’s ever made, feeling unburdened and free from past hurt.
She admitted that the estrangement was difficult but necessary, acknowledging the long history of pain. “It’s been a relief,” she said.
