Kristin Cavallari Exposes Shocking Reason She’ll Never Forgive Her Dad for Crossing the Line with Her Kids!
Kristin Cavallari has made it clear she will never forgive her father, Dennis Cavallari, due to his alleged behavior towards her children.
“A lot has happened with my dad. He’s crossed boundaries with my kids, and that’s a dealbreaker for me,” she shared during a Thursday appearance on Page Six Radio. Kristin, 38, emphasized the importance of “accountability.”
She shares sons Camden, 12, and Jaxon, 11, along with daughter Saylor, 9, with ex-husband Jay Cutler. Kristin stressed that those close to her understand the full story and don’t pressure her to reconcile.
She added, “If I hurt your feelings and come to you, I want a genuine apology, not explanations. Just acknowledgment and remorse are enough. That’s hard for many.”
Regarding her father’s actions, Kristin said, “When boundaries are crossed and accountability isn’t taken, I can’t tolerate their presence in my life anymore. He’s out of my life forever.”
Kristin describes her estrangement from her father as a relief. “It’s the best decision I’ve made. The weight has been lifted,” she revealed, adding she has not missed him for years.
“I believe the parent’s role is to stay involved, especially if their child wishes for that. If my kid told me I wasn’t welcome, I would do everything to stay connected,” she shared on the article.
On her podcast, Kristin expressed that parental boundaries should be handled with responsibility and honesty. “If my child said they didn’t want me around, I’d respect their wishes and make efforts to stay involved,” she said.
Earlier, she described her choice to distance herself from her father as a liberation: “It’s been a heavy burden lifted. I haven’t missed him, even after years of being programmed to accept the abuse.”
