Justin Baldoni’s Shocking Reaction to $400M Countersuit Dismissal Against Blake Lively & Ryan Reynolds!

Justin Baldoni Maintains Confidence Amid Legal Setback

Despite a judge dismissing his $400 million countersuit against Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds, Justin Baldoni’s team remains optimistic. His attorney, Bryan Freedman, stated that while some claims were dismissed, others could be amended with further evidence.

“Ms. Lively and her team’s declaration of victory is premature. We plan to revise four claims against her,” Freedman clarified. “We trust in our legal strategy and look forward to her upcoming deposition.”

His legal team emphasizes that the case concerns false allegations of sexual harassment and retaliation, which they argue are unsubstantiated and untraceable. Freedman reaffirmed that the allegations against Lively are still false and that Baldoni fully trusts his attorneys.

Recently, a judge granted the dismissal of Baldoni’s libel suit against the New York Times as well, noting that statements made by Reynolds, Lively, and others appeared privileged and not liable for defamation.

Though the legal setbacks are significant, sources close to Baldoni say he remains committed to moving forward, despite feeling “a huge kick to the guts.” His team plans to amend their claims by June 23, aiming to clear his name.

Lively’s legal team hailed the recent rulings as a “total victory,” reaffirming that Baldoni’s claims lacked substance. The actress celebrated her legal win at a recent Chanel event in New York City.

Earlier, Baldoni had sued Lively and Reynolds for defamation, and he recently filed a libel suit against the New York Times—claims that are now dismissed. The drama began with allegations of misconduct on the set of “It Ends With Us” and subsequent legal battles.
