Nicolas Cage Explains What Went Wrong in Short-Lived Sarah Jessica Parker Romance

Nicolas Cage Reflects on Short-Lived Romance with Sarah Jessica Parker

Actor Nicolas Cage has finally spoken publicly about his brief relationship with Sarah Jessica Parker, shortly after she confirmed on a television show that they once dated.

“I cared about Sarah,” Cage said in a statement. He recounted a dinner he once shared with Parker and her mother, Barbara Parker, at the Russian Tea Room. He jokingly attributed the end of their relationship to his fashion choice—a blue Vanson Leather motorcycle jacket—or his sinusitis, suggesting he didn’t “pass the Mom test.”

Meanwhile, Parker, appearing on a Bravo talk show, confirmed she dated Cage but offered no additional details. When asked directly, she responded, “Um, yes. I did. Yes, I did.”
