Lauren Sánchez’s $20M wedding dress mysteriously vanishes!
Theft of Lauren Sánchez’s Wedding Dress During Bezos’s Celebrity-Laden Ceremony
During a luxurious wedding attended by numerous A-list guests in Venice, former journalist Lauren Sánchez, 55, married Amazon billionaire Jeff Bezos, 60. The celebration reportedly cost around £15 million and featured multiple designer outfits, including 27 custom gowns.
However, reports now reveal that one of these gowns has gone missing. While details remain unclear, initial reports in Italy suggested it might have been stolen by a “dressed-up party crasher,” though no official police report has been filed and this remains unconfirmed. The missing dress is not believed to be the main wedding gown, a stunning high-neck lace Dolce & Gabbana dress worn during the ceremony.
Following the wedding, Sánchez shared a photo of her main dress, showcasing floral lace sleeves, a long train, and intricate button details, captioned “I do” with the wedding date. She also appeared in the dress for a pre-wedding photoshoot with Vogue, describing the fitting as feeling like a fairy tale. “It was more powerful than I expected,” she remarked.
Her husband was eager to see the dress beforehand, but Sánchez chose to keep it a surprise, explaining, “I almost gave in. But I want it to be a surprise. As you get older, many things become predictable. I can’t wait to see his reaction.”
Later, Sánchez posted behind-the-scenes images taken by photographer Nicolas Geradin, displaying the gown’s dramatic silhouette against the opulent backdrop of Venice.
