Kelley Wolf Accuses Police of Brutality After Second Involuntary Hold
Kelley Wolf Alleges Police Brutality During Involuntary Hold
Kelley Wolf, the estranged wife of actor Scott Wolf, has publicly accused authorities of “police brutality” after being placed on an involuntary psychiatric hold for the second time. She shared on social media that she was detained for seven days, despite efforts to keep her involuntarily for up to 90 days, and showed her bruised arm as evidence.
“This injury is from the police. I am working to ensure my safety and am reaching out for help,” Kelley wrote, describing being thrown down stairs, breaking her wrist, and suffering contusions on her head and body. She also revealed she was released just the previous night.
She recounted that law enforcement took her from Sundance Film Festival on July 6 while she was relaxing in a hot tub, and placed her at Summit County Behavioral Health. Kelley emphasized her desire to tell the truth and shared a photo of her bruised arm.
In a subsequent Instagram story, Kelley expressed her love for her children—Jackson, 16, Miller, 12, and Lucy, 11—and pleaded for help, asserting that she is sane and expressed her wish to regain custody of her kids.
Her posts followed a court decision granting Scott temporary sole custody of their children and a restraining order against Kelley. Scott claimed Kelley posed a threat to their children through an escalating pattern of concerning behavior.
Earlier, Kelley announced the end of their 21-year marriage, citing a mutual decision to dissolve their partnership. Despite their separation, she described Scott as one of the best fathers and partners she has known.
Subsequently, Kelley was detained again and hospitalized under an involuntary hold after reportedly making concerning remarks to a family member, and accused Scott of abusing her during their marriage.
