He admitted that the ending of the relationship was particularly painful, stating, “I was really in love, and it hurt bad.”
The pair began dating last year amid their respective public breakups—Heard had finalized her divorce from Johnny Depp, while Musk was divorcing Talulah Riley. Despite their busy schedules, they were spotted together in Australia shortly after announcing their split.

Reflecting on his emotional state, Musk shared his desire for companionship, explaining, “I cannot be happy without a girlfriend,” and adding, “I never want to be alone.” Despite his professional success, he feels an emptiness without someone to share his life with, describing nights alone in a large house as particularly difficult.
He expressed difficulty in meeting new people and emphasized his interest in finding a serious, long-term partner—someone he can connect with on a deeper level, rather than casual encounters.
Meanwhile, Amber Heard spoke about her own struggles, revealing in a cover story that revealing her bisexuality was seen by some as career-threatening. She recounted how she was advised against it, but she chose to be true to herself, asserting, “I said, ‘I cannot do this any other way. Watch me.’”
