Shocking: Macron Reveals Trump’s Secret Offer for Israel-Iran Ceasefire—You Won’t Believe What Happened!
French President Emmanuel Macron reported Monday that President Trump had proposed a temporary cease-fire involving Iran and Israel to de-escalate the ongoing Middle East tensions.
“If the U.S. can facilitate a cease-fire, it’s a positive development,” Macron stated during a G7 summit in Canada. This was around the same time the White House announced Trump would leave the summit early due to intense hostilities between Iran and Israel.
He added, “There is an offer to meet and discuss. A proposal was made specifically for a cease-fire and to initiate broader negotiations. We will see if both sides are willing to respond.”
Meanwhile, Trump warned for immediate evacuation of Tehran and plans to give Iran one final chance to accept a deal to prevent uranium enrichment necessary for nuclear weapons development.
The White House and Israeli Foreign Ministry did not respond immediately to requests for comment.
Macron emphasized that any attempt to overthrow Iran’s regime through external force would be a “strategic mistake,” warning against foreign interventions that try to overthrow regimes by bombing.
He also noted European leaders are prepared to assist in brokering peace talks.
Israel has conducted strikes on Iranian nuclear sites amid fears of Iran nearing the uranium enrichment threshold for nuclear weapons. These operations, called “Operation Rising Lion,” targeted nuclear scientists and IRGC leaders.
Iran responded with missile barrages, some of which penetrated Israel’s Iron Dome system, resulting in casualties on both sides.
Trump previously set a 60-day window for Iran to negotiate halting uranium enrichment and indicated he might give Tehran a “last chance” to accept a nuclear deal to replace the 2015 JCPOA, from which he withdrew in 2018.
“Iran needs to make a deal. It’s regrettable, but Iran is likely not winning this conflict, and they should talk now—before it’s too late,” Trump stated at the G7 summit.
While the U.S. claims it’s not aiding Israel’s military actions, Israeli officials reportedly seek U.S. support to eliminate Iran’s nuclear capabilities, especially the clandestine Fordow facility.
