Christians United for Israel: Unwavering Support When It Matters Most

Celebrating Solidarity: A Renewed Commitment to Supporting Israel and Jewish Communities

Last week’s Christians United for Israel (CUFI) summit in Oxon Hill, Maryland, was a celebration of unwavering support for Israel and the Jewish people. The event, which marked its 20th anniversary, drew a large crowd of around 10,000 passionate attendees, many waving Israeli and American flags, united in their advocacy and biblical affirmation of Israel.

Throughout the gathering, speakers condemned recent anti-Semitic acts in America, including violence and hate crimes targeting Jewish communities. Pastor John Hagee reaffirmed CUFI’s commitment, stating, “We are not going to allow the Jewish people to suffer on our watch.”

Despite security challenges, including banners protesting CUFI, the event remained vibrant and resilient. Hagee assured attendees of the organization’s strong security measures, emphasizing unity: “If a line has to be drawn, it’s around Christians and Jews. We are one!”

The summit also showcased emerging youth engagement, with over 500 students from high schools and universities participating—highlighting the growing support within younger generations amid rising antisemitism in educational institutions.

Despite a brief protest intrusion, the event’s spirit remained unshaken, with cheers of “Israel lives!” filling the room.

Speakers emphasized the biblical basis for their support, with CUFI leaders denouncing replacement theology—an ideology that undermines Israel and the Jewish covenant. Rabbi Shari Dollinger highlighted CUFI’s non-conversionary and non-partisan stance, reinforcing its support for Israel without proselytizing.

Advocates also called for a broader alliance, urging Jewish and Christian communities to stand together against bigotry and misinformation. The upcoming CUFI conference in 2026 promises an even larger gathering, with tickets available at competitive prices, fostering unity and friendship across faiths.

In the words of a supporter, “Let’s show up for those who stand with us,” and together, continue forging bonds rooted in faith, support, and shared values.
