Kanye West Denies Ex-Assistant’s ‘Absurd’ Sexual Assault Claims
Kanye West Responds to Allegations by Former Assistant
Kanye West has publicly dismissed claims made by his ex-assistant, Lauren Pisciotta, who has filed multiple lawsuits accusing him of sexual battery, assault, false imprisonment, and wrongful termination. A spokesperson for West described Pisciotta’s latest amended complaint as “absurd and outlandish,” criticizing the repeated revisions as contradictory and increasingly fantastical. The spokesperson questioned whether Pisciotta truly believes her own claims, asserting they discredit her testimonies and emphasizing that courts are not suitable places for such allegations.
West’s representatives also defended the rapper’s character, highlighting his history of nonviolence, lack of arrests, and absence of weapons. They expressed confidence in winning the case and ridiculing Pisciotta’s allegations as “fantasy fiction.”
Pisciotta claimed that West sexually assaulted her during a business trip to San Francisco, alleging that he forcibly kissed her, touched her inappropriately, and engaged in non-consensual sexual acts. She also accused him of offering her to another person with whom he was involved, subjected her to obscene comments, groping, and watching him engage in sexual acts with other women. Pisciotta further alleged that West sent her explicit pictures, demanded her participation in his sexual encounters, and that after her termination, he moved into her apartment building, which caused her ongoing fear. She recounts an incident where West allegedly grabbed her by the throat and licked her ear.
West’s legal team has previously called Pisciotta’s earlier claims “baseless” and “frivolous,” maintaining that the accusations are false. Meanwhile, Pisciotta’s attorney pointed to West’s own admissions that support her allegations, criticizing West’s public spokesperson for misinformation.
In the past, Pisciotta sued West for wrongful termination and sexual harassment, allegations she has continued to amend over time. Her legal actions have been controversial, with West’s attorneys dismissing the suits as false and frivolous.
