Sam Kerr & Fiancée’s Photos Spark Heartbreak for Matildas Fans

Sam Kerr and Kristie Mewis Inspect Their Dream Oceanfront Home

Soccer star Sam Kerr and her partner Kristie Mewis were recently spotted visiting the construction site of their new seaside residence in Perth’s upscale North Coogee neighborhood. The couple, whose baby boy Jagger was born in early May, were more focused on the progress of their lavish home than their professional pursuits during the visit.

Their property, purchased for $940,000 in August 2023, is situated on a 200-square-meter lot near Kerr’s parents’ home and close to her childhood residence in Kardinya, which was previously destroyed by fire in 2021. The home’s construction is being handled by JnT Homes, known for personalized building services.

The new house, located mere meters from the beach, is expected to surpass the local median house price of around $1.9 million upon completion. Early photos reveal a three-storey, modern design taking shape, reflecting Kerr and Mewis’s vision for their family’s future.

While Kerr has been making progress recovering from a serious knee injury sustained in January last year, hints indicate she may soon be stepping away from top-flight football. Despite recent footage of her training on grass and her return to Australian grounds, her long recovery and the extensive impact of her injury suggest her professional career might be winding down.

Meanwhile, Mewis recently announced the end of her stint with West Ham after just four appearances this season, expressing gratitude for the experience despite it not meeting her expectations.

All signs point toward significant life changes for Kerr, with her potential move back to Australia and focusing on her personal life, including her family, possibly marking the next chapter for one of Australia’s most prominent athletes.
