Miley Cyrus & Naomi Campbell Team Up for Controversial New Music Video
Miley Cyrus and Naomi Campbell Collaborate on New Music Video Amid Fan Controversy
Supermodel Naomi Campbell and singer Miley Cyrus are preparing to release a new music video, sparking excitement among fans. Campbell recently defended Cyrus after a viral clip from a fan signing event in London drew criticism.
During the event at Rough Trade East, fans lined up for meet-and-greet photos, but some felt disappointed when Cyrus and Campbell appeared to ignore a fan approaching them. A video circulated online showed the celebrities engrossed in conversation, with little acknowledgment of the fan’s presence.
Despite the backlash, Campbell took to Instagram to praise Cyrus. She shared a series of posts expressing her gratitude for the experience, highlighting their collaboration on Cyrus’s album Something Beautiful. Campbell wrote, “Thank you for having me to celebrate the vinyl release of ‘Every Girl You’ve Ever Loved’ in London. Your energy is infectious, and I had a wonderful night with you, laughing and enjoying your graciousness with fans.” Campbell also encouraged fans to share their photos, noting the vinyl was available for purchase.
Not all fans agreed with the sentiment. One expressed disappointment, saying, “As a Miley fan, I was let down by this interaction. It felt rude, like she didn’t want to connect.” Conversely, another fan defended the celebrities, stating, “It was a free event with signed vinyls and a meet-and-greet. Be grateful—you got to meet Miley and Naomi for free!”
The collaboration between Cyrus and Campbell features Campbell contributing vocals to their new song, titled Every Girl You’ve Ever Loved.
