Woman Drives Through Protesters in Fairview, New Jersey
A video circulating online appears to show a woman in a gray Jeep driving through a group of protesters outside a restaurant in Fairview, New Jersey. The incident occurred during a demonstration against ICE raids organized by a group called United Without Fear.
The footage depicts the woman approaching the restaurant’s exit as protesters slowly walk in front of her vehicle. She then accelerates, striking a protester before proceeding through the crowd. The protester approaches the Jeep to attempt to halt the driver, but the vehicle lunges forward, clipping his foot. He falls nearby as several protesters gather around the Jeep.
Despite the chaos, the driver rolls up her window and drives away from the scene. Authorities identified her as Linda Roglen, 62, of North Bergen. She faces charges of careless and reckless driving, leaving the scene of an accident, and four counts of assault with bodily injury caused by auto.
Several individuals were injured during the incident, with three suffering minor injuries, including one with an injured knee.
