Exclusive: The Female Agent in the Iconic ‘Fight!’ Trump Photo

Female Secret Service Agent Honored for Bravery During Assassination Attempt

A female US Secret Service agent, who gained recognition after shielding President Donald Trump during an assassination attempt, is respected by her colleagues. The agent, aged 35, was raised in Halfmoon, New York, a small town in Saratoga County, and attended Mechanicville High School, where she played soccer and basketball.

She furthered her education at SUNY Albany, earning degrees in political science and government, a graduate certificate in public sector management, and a master’s in homeland security. Her career with the Secret Service began in 2009, initially as an administrative assistant, while she was still in college. She also briefly worked as a data analyst for the Department of Motor Vehicles before transitioning to her current protective role.

In a widely circulated photo from a rally in Pennsylvania on July 13, 2024, the agent can be seen bent over on Trump’s right side, attempting to shield him after an assailant fired an AR-15-style rifle. Along with her, two male agents, including Sean Curran—who led Trump’s protection team and now serves as Secret Service director—are present in the image.

The Secret Service announced suspensions of six agents involved in securing the rally, though none of the three agents in the famous photo, including the woman, faced discipline. President Trump praised her for her bravery, stating, “She was shielding me with everything she could.”

Despite occasional criticism, including sarcastic comments about her stature, Trump defended her publicly, emphasizing her dedication and heroism. Musk also remarked humorously on her size, but Trump’s unwavering support highlights her commitment during a life-threatening moment.
