Crystal Palace Star Open to Leaving in This Window Amid FA Cup Glory Battle

Crystal Palace Player Open to Leaving the Club Amid Transfer Speculation

The Crystal Palace defender has expressed his desire to depart the club during this transfer window, despite signing a new contract just a few months ago.

Palace is under pressure to retain its key players this summer, with Eberechi Eze, Jean-Philippe Mateta, and Marc Guehi all linked with potential moves away. Although no formal deals have been made, the club faces a challenging season ahead if it loses these star athletes.

Adding to the list of concerns, right-back Daniel Munoz has revealed his ambition to join a bigger club. Signed from the previous January for £8.5 million, Munoz has established himself as a vital player, making 62 appearances and scoring six goals for Palace.

Despite signing a new deal until 2028, Munoz’s recent comments suggest he is not entirely settled. He told Win Sports TV, relayed through The Sun, that he dreams of playing for top-tier teams and hopes to achieve this soon. When asked about his future, he stated, “I hope it’s in this window, but if not, I’m very happy at Crystal Palace.”

His willingness to leave could significantly impact Palace, especially as they compete with Arsenal for Eze and face potential departures of Guehi and Mateta to other clubs. The club’s manager, Oliver Glasner, is now faced with the challenge of maintaining his squad amid these uncertainties.
