Michelle Obama shared a heartfelt Father’s Day message to her husband, Barack Obama, following rumors of divorce that had circulated earlier this year.

“Looking back at photos like this of our girls when they were younger always brings joy,” the former First Lady wrote on Instagram Sunday, alongside a vintage photo of Barack and their daughters, Malia, 26, and Sasha, 24.

“@BarackObama has been a steadfast presence in our lives, supporting us through everything — even when it seemed like the world was on his shoulders,” she added.

The couple has remained united publicly, despite rumors that surfaced earlier this year, which began after Michelle missed some notable events, including President Jimmy Carter’s funeral.

Later, Michelle clarified that her choices were for her own well-being, emphasizing that her decision not to participate in some political ceremonies was a matter of personal boundaries.
