Todd Chrisley’s Heartwarming Prison Release: Watch His Emotional Reunion with Daughter Savannah!
Last month, Savannah and Todd Chrisley experienced an emotional reunion following Todd’s release from prison after the President granted him a pardon for financial crimes.
On May 28, in a video obtained by TMZ, the father-daughter pair were captured rushing toward each other outside the Federal Prison Camp in Pensacola, Florida. They shared a heartfelt embrace before quickly entering an SUV.
The video also reveals Savannah, 27, making several calls to prison officials while awaiting confirmation of Todd’s release, who served two years behind bars.
Soon after Todd’s release, his wife, Julie Chrisley, 52, was also released from the Federal Medical Center in Lexington, Ky. They then traveled to Nashville, Tennessee, following President Trump’s pardon of their convictions for tax evasion and bank fraud in 2022.
An official called Todd and Julie’s children via a personal call on May 27, expressing hope for their early release and stating, “It’s a terrible thing. But it’s a great thing because your parents are gonna be free and clear.”
Attorney Alex Little commented that the pardon corrected a “deep injustice,” claiming their prosecution was influenced by political bias and constitutional violations.
Both were initially sentenced to lengthy prison terms — Todd for 12 years and Julie for 7 — but their sentences were later reduced slightly. They have children: Chase (29), Savannah, and Grayson (19). Todd also fathered Lindsie (35) and Kyle (33) with his ex-wife, Teresa Terry.
