During an interview, Jost reminisced about the moment on the red carpet, playfully questioning, “I guess we have to kiss now? Is that what happens?” He likened the situation to a scene from “Jurassic Park,” saying, “The attack always comes from the raptor you never thought was there. Of all the threats, I wasn’t expecting Jonathan.”

He clarified that Bailey, 37, was just being friendly, and since Bailey is openly gay, Jost felt reassured, quipping, “I think it’s going to be OK.” He also playfully added that the kisses were “blown out of proportion.”
