Tensions escalated quickly when one individual, 49-year-old Miguel Orellanas Flores, allegedly attempted to cut the line, prompting a confrontation with another shopper dressed in a Pikachu hoodie, according to reports.

The victim approached Orellanas Flores, who admitted to apologizing but was then forcibly pushed away. The situation escalated when the victim lunged at Orellanas Flores and reacted by striking 27-year-old Isaiah Calles across the face. This ignited a fight involving multiple people, with frantic bystanders trying to intervene.

During the melee, Orellanas Flores reportedly hit the victim over the head with a mason jar and then stabbed him repeatedly with a glass shard. Despite the chaos, the victim managed to photograph the suspects’ cars, which helped police locate them. The two suspects fled in separate vehicles but were soon arrested.

Both Orellanas Flores and Calles face multiple charges, including assault with a deadly weapon and conspiracy. The incident highlights the high stakes involved in the trading card market, where rare cards can fetch thousands of dollars, fueling intense competition and sometimes violence.
