Bryan Kohberger ‘Beat’ Kaylee Goncalves Before Idaho Murders, Mom Claims
Victims’ Families Reveal Harrowing Details of the Attack
Kaylee Goncalves’ parents have shared heartbreaking details about the night Bryan Kohberger attacked and murdered their daughter and three other students at the University of Idaho in November 2022. They revealed that Kohberger not only stabbed Kaylee repeatedly but also beat her about the face and head while she fought for her life.
In a public social media post, her family questioned what they would want if their 21-year-old daughter was sleeping peacefully in her bed and was targeted with the intent to kill, which was carried out with violence. The post described Kaylee’s final moments, emphasizing her resistance and struggle to survive.
According to court statements, Kohberger approached the third floor where Kaylee and her friend Madison Mogen, both 21, were sleeping together, instead of targeting those on the second floor. The family expressed their frustration over criticism for their feelings of vengeance, stating they are deeply hurt by judgments from those who haven’t experienced their loss.
Kohberger has confessed to the murders of Kaylee Goncalves, Madison Mogen, Xana Kernodle, and Ethan Chapin, committed in Moscow on November 13, 2022. The family continues to mourn and seek justice for their loved ones while grappling with the pain of their loss.
