New details are emerging about the incident involving Tarek El Moussa in Las Vegas, where he was allegedly involved in a physical altercation.

According to police reports, the HGTV star responded violently during the June 5 confrontation, kneeing and hitting a man multiple times on the head, as detailed by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. The incident was captured on security footage at the Venetian’s Palazzo.

Police reports indicate that El Moussa’s aggression was triggered after the man bumped into his father’s chair at a roulette table. Witnesses claim that El Moussa’s father stared at the man before resuming his game, and the man then patted the elder on the shoulder and spoke to him.

El Moussa, who was nearby, reportedly intervened, pushing the man away and adopting a fighting stance. When the man attempted to tackle him by aiming for his legs, El Moussa kneeled him, knocking him to the floor. He then jumped on the man’s back, delivering three blows to the head before walking away.

Police reported that the other man sustained bruises under his eye and a cut on his nose. Despite the violence, the victim declined medical treatment. When questioned, El Moussa claimed he acted to “protect his dad due to him having back problems.” Authorities did not arrest him on-site but read him his Miranda rights.

He was later cited for battery, and witnesses confirmed seeing him knee the man and cause him to lose consciousness. An onlooker described the assault as “bad” and noted the injured man looked seriously hurt.

The incident occurred while El Moussa was on vacation with his wife, Heather Rae Young, who shared photos on Instagram calling the trip “not our average Vegas trip.”

El Moussa’s representatives did not immediately comment. This event adds to the ongoing discussion about his conduct during the Vegas visit.
