F-16 Escorts Plane Away from Trump’s Golf Course After Airspace Breach

U.S. Fighter Jet Intercepts Unauthorized Aircraft Near a Presidential Golf Club

An F-16 fighter jet from the United States intercepted a civilian aircraft that crossed into restricted airspace over a golf course in Bedminster, New Jersey, where the President was present. The intervention occurred around 2:39 p.m. and was the fifth such breach on the same day.

The North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) confirmed the aircraft was an F-16 and took immediate action to address the violation. The fighter executed a maneuver known as a “headbutt” to alert the civilian pilot and ensure the aircraft was safely escorted out of the restricted zone.

The restriction was in place around the President’s golf club in Bedminster, New Jersey, a location heavily monitored during such incidents. The White House did not offer any immediate comments regarding the event. NORAD has reported similar unauthorized incursions recently and emphasizes the importance for private pilots to verify all notifications before flying in sensitive areas.
