Fire Erupts at Lisa Vanderpump’s Las Vegas Hotel Site

Fire Breaks Out at Future Vanderpump Hotel Site in Las Vegas

A fire occurred early Friday morning at the site where Lisa Vanderpump’s upcoming Las Vegas hotel, set to open in 2026, is currently under construction. Video footage circulating on social media showed smoke emanating from the building, formerly the Cromwell boutique hotel, which is being transformed into The Vanderpump Hotel.

Onlookers gathered outside the project’s location at the corner of Las Vegas Boulevard and Flamingo Road, as fire alarms and emergency sirens filled the background. The blaze was initially reported to have started inside the parking garage of the building but was promptly extinguished.

A representative for Caesars Entertainment confirmed the incident, stating, “It was quickly extinguished, and there were no reported injuries.” The company noted that out of caution, some guest rooms were briefly evacuated, but operations have since returned to normal.

The fire was captured in images showing the heavily smoke-filled structure, which remains open to the public during ongoing construction. Next to the site, Vanderpump’s restaurant Pinky’s was also visible in the footage.

Vanderpump announced her partnership with Caesars in March to develop the upscale hotel, describing it as a chance to create a “unique, playful, and upscale” destination. She expressed enthusiasm about transforming the iconic location into a “something truly magical.”

While the fire caused temporary disruptions, there are no reports of injuries, and the project is still on track for its 2026 debut. The site continues to undergo renovations as Vanderpump’s team prepares to bring her signature style and sophistication to Las Vegas.
