Teenager Dies After Falling on Subway Tracks During Subway Surfing

A 15-year-old boy lost his life after an incident involving subway surfing in Queens early Friday morning, according to police reports.

The teenager was riding on the roof of a southbound 7 train when he fell onto the tracks as the train approached Queensboro Plaza station at around 2:45 a.m. Emergency services quickly responded, rushing him to nearby Bellevue Hospital, where he was pronounced dead less than an hour later.

Disturbing footage from the scene shows EMS personnel evacuating the bloodied teen on a stretcher. The incident is under investigation by authorities.
