Blake Lively and Taylor Swift’s Shocking Stance After Justin Baldoni Lawsuit Gets Tossed!
Blake Lively’s friendship with Taylor Swift remains strained following a recent legal controversy. After a judge dismissed Justin Baldoni’s $400 million countersuit against Blake on Monday, sources revealed the actress and singer are not yet on good terms.
“While Blake saw the legal victory as a positive, she hasn’t reconnected with Taylor,” an insider told Us Weekly.
“Taylor has not reached out and prefers not to discuss the lawsuit at this time.”
Although Lively remains hopeful about repairing their friendship, there is noticeable distance between them. A source noted, “Blake is optimistic they’ll reunite someday, but for now, there’s still a gap.”
The actress filed a lawsuit in December 2024 accusing Baldoni of sexual harassment and retaliation. Baldoni responded with a countersuit, alleging defamation and extortion, and even brought Taylor Swift into the legal battle by claiming Lively attempted to leverage her friendship with the pop star to influence the movie production.
In May, Baldoni’s lawyers subpoenaed Swift, citing her involvement in licensing a song for a film. However, the subpoena was later dropped, with the legal team asserting her role was minimal and used to generate tabloid interest.
Representatives for both Lively and Swift denied any inappropriate involvement or support in the lawsuit, emphasizing that Swift was uninvolved in the film’s production and was traveling during the incidents.
“Taylor wants no part in this drama,” a source told Page Six. The legal case continues to unfold, with the next hearing scheduled for March 2026.
